INGREDIENTS: 

 

300g SPINACH
50g WALNUTS

 

SAUCE:
2 tbsp. DASHI or 2 tbsp HOT WATER AND ¼ tsp ORGANIC DASHI POWDER
1 tsp RAW SUGAR
1 tbsp SOY SAUCE

SPINACH WITH WALNUT SAUCE

METHOD:

  1. PREPARE THE SPINACH
     

  2. Cut spinach in 4 cm length and gently squeeze to remove water
     

  3. Using a pestle and mortar grained walnuts, I like when not all the walnuts are grained 
     

  4. To make the sauce, dissolve sugar in dashi and hot water 
     

  5. Add soy sauce and pour the mixture into walnuts
     

  6. Add in the spinach to serve
