SPINACH PREP AND BOILING METHOD

  1. Boil water and add 1/2 tspn of salt 

  2. Remove roots but make sure to not cut off the very end of the stem so that the leaves stay connected

  3. Wash well removing any sand or dirt

  4. Place spinach in boiling water firstly submerging the stems and then pushing down the leave

  5. When the water re-boils remove the spinach and rinse in cold water

  6. Gather all the stems together (below right images)

  7. Squeeze out all the water 

  8. Cut the end of the stem of the spinach off and cut the remaining amount of spinach into 4cm length
